Team Building Retreats

A team building retreat is an opportunity to help your department or organization design and implement specific action plans for the future. These action plans may include building a more cohesive team, recommitting to the mission and core values of your organization, or learning how to provide better customer service to internal and external customers.

Many teams have used this concept to develop new goals and objectives and as an opportunity to build better working relationships. Participants will get a chance to kick back and relax with lively discussions and activities, and will walk away with valuable ideas for immediate implementation.

Our approach is to meet with key participants to develop expected outcomes and then design a customized retreat for you. Depending on your needs, the retreat can be a one-day session, or two days. The following are examples of topics often explored by teams who have used this approach:

  • Team building during organizational cutbacks
  • Designing work processes and best practices
  • Building team morale and learning how to manage stress and avoid burnout
  • Improving customer service inside and outside of the organization
  • Assessing team member strengths and weaknesses
  • Realigning department functions and responsibilities
  • Establishing new goals and objectives
